Blogs Blogs Everywhere!

If you have not been over to the Blog Party yet, I highly recommend it. The last time I checked, there were 800 blogs listed on Mr. Linky. That's HUGE! That's like, the size of my entire high school! Or the number of miles from here to Dallas. Or the number of times that I've said, "Okay, just one bite of cake".

I'm busily working my way though them all. I have a system. I started at number 51 (that's me!) and so far I've worked my way down the list to number 100. At this rate, I should be through all the blogs on the list by the year 2027. The good news is, I'm finding a lot of new blogs to read. If I find a blog that sounds interesting, I jot it down so that I can come back to it later. (So far I think I've jotted down about 48 names). There are some really fantastic blogs out there! It almost makes it worth staying at until 2am trying to get on the party list Thursday night.

I've also noticed that there are A LOT of Mommy bloggers out there. A lot seem to have two kids, A LOT seem to homeschool, and A LOT seem to be good Christian women who love the Lord. Rock on, Mommy bloggers! Of the non-mommy variety, I've found exactly...two. (We are a small but dedicated group). Oh well. Kids, no kids, it doesn't matter to me. I'll gladly read about your kid flushing your keys down the toilet as long as it isn't happening to me.

In other news, I spent a couple of hours today putting the finishing touches on the cat tree for Mason and Dixon's birthday. I've taken a lot of pictures through the entire process so I can show it to you step-by-step. You'll be so impressed with how easy it is that you'll be making them for all the cats in the neighborhood.

For now, I'm back to reading blogs. I'll be happy reading blogs until my eyes fall out of my head...Good thing there are no kids around to flush them.

Whew! Lucky me that I was between 51 & 100! It is rather daunting, isn't it?

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Fortunately, I've moved past the toddler-flushing-the-keys stage to the teens-and-pulling-my-hair-out stage! (Not really, their great kids for the most part! And I don't blog about them much.)

Funny you're comment about "the other" UT that you went to. :-) I was very conscious of trying to get a burnt orange and not an orange-orange so people wouldn't think it was the wrong one. But Blogger font colors aren't very cooperative.

Happy reading!

I found you from a comment on one of the party blogs... it made me giggle :) about the nursing pads and not knowing what they were for, I remember when I didn't know what they were for exactly either

You have cats - far more difficult than kids!
Thanks for stopping by my blog - enjoy the party!

Thanks for coming by my blog. I don't envy you the MBA. Wowzers. Put off the kid thing for a while longer. There's plenty of time for your watch, wallet, cash, and "personal items" to be flushed down the toilet later.

We had a Siamese cat too and we loved him. They are wonderful.

I have a brand new dessert blog and I hope you'll have time to come visit me. :-) Isn't it wild how many people are participating?

I'll still be reading UBP 2008 blogs until 2027 right along with you. :) Too fun, though...

You are funny! and a wonderful writer:) I am curious to connect and learn more about you and your world of blogging (and work).

We love the smoky mountains here at our house...try to get there whenever we can.

I will be back to visit (interested in the business blog info too!)

Funny post! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I can get carried away reading blogs, looking at prizes, etc. It's such an addiction, but so much fun to meet others with the same interests online. Happy blog hopping!

Thanks for visiting my blog. Come back any time. I'm adding you to my "to read" list as well. We aren't too far away from each other... I'm up in the Tri-Cities area, NE TN. We drive through Knoxville often on the way to my family in Cookeville. Oh, and yes, cats do count. Before kids, I'd hold my kitty and tell him, "You're the only baby I need." Have a great day!

Thanks for stopping by!! So happy to meet another non-mommy blogger! We are a rarity at this party - in which case, I'll gladly join you in the corner, though I'm more of a cabbage patch gal, than a robot gal.

I'm so bad though, I just got so overwhelmed by the amount of bloggers - predominantly Christian mom bloggers (nothing wrong with that, I don't judge) that I felt that I had nothing in common with that well, I just pretty much gave up looking for new blogs. In which case, I love that people leave comments so I can go back to learn more about them and the folks that left comments for them. Such a process.

Okay, off to call the tax guy...turns out they can access the data in my QB and that can't be good.

Ooo! Ooo! I'm not a mommy-blogger either. Welcome to the club! I love the site. Great color scheme!

And the list is almost at 1250 now! I don't know if I'll get through half of the blogs by Friday. But I'll do my best!

Stop by and say hello if you get a chance. I'll be back to read more posts once I've done some more Blog Party hopping.

Although I am a Christian and I am a mom, (hold onto your hat) I only have one child, don't homeschool, AND I work outside the home! I have visited about 50 blogs so far and have found one proudly working mom among the mommy blogs.

I am a new blogger and am trying to use this as a way to rediscover who I am apart from just a mom (and an autism mom at that)!

I've got you on my reader, and I'll be back!
